WOW is all I can say. The latest installment of the long living Metal Gear series Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots is finally here. Exclusively for the PS3 gaming console, MGS 4 arrived in North America Yesterday hitting No. 4 in sales on Amazon.com. officialy I have no news on the sales and won’t untill later. But you can be sure that I will be covering this game closely.

notice two untitled games? ther is some speculation as to what games these are some say one of them could be Devil May Cry 5, which I highly doubt. It is way to early for that. also there are rumors about a new Nintendo DS floating around. and with the upcomming Street Fighter IV I don’t think Capcom has enough time to even blink let alone start on DMC 5. Well whatever E3 2008 holds in store for us, I promise to keep you up to date.

Hello my name is Low Key, I am the New Mod for Total Gamers. IGN have announced that saints row 2 in all its gangster pimping glory will be hitting the shelfs this August 26th. Hopefully the four month gap from GTA IV will be enough for us to go out and give SR a try. They also released a new video all about “Pushing” Check it out below

Peripheral manufacturer Zappies has developed an attachment for the Wii-mote, called the free-mote, that allows you to connect the nunchuk to the main body of the controller wirelessly. The rather bulky attachments requires 2 AAA batteries to operate and had attachment for both the nunchuk and wii-mote. The device is only available in the UK at the moment, retailing at a price of £19.95.
Whether this is a ground breaking discovery that will seriously cut down on wii-mote strangulation deaths or another useless peripheral is up to the buyer.

Australian magazine ZOO has played GTA IV and kindly decided to put photos of them playing it into their mag. From the pics it seems that the only thing visible is the mini map and the health/armour bars that go around it. Apparently your wanted level and weapon are only visible when you obtain one or change your weapon. However this isn’t confirmed, I personally would like the weapon and money to be displayed constantly. However I think the wanted level only being shown when you have at-least one star is a good idea. Anyway you can check the photos out below. (Click for larger image)

A live action Gears of War movie is scheduled for a Summer 2010 release, according to producer Wyck Godfrey. While talking to comingsoon.net, Godfrey said, “We’ve got our script on and a director we are about to attach, we’ll hopefully make that early next year for the summer of 2010.”
It has been confirmed that the writer behind Pirates of the Caribbean, Stuart Beattie will pen the script for the picture. He will work with the game’s lead designer, Cliff Bleszinski.
Currently the project is without a director, and while Dir Hard With a Vengeance director Len WIsemen was originally attached to the film, these reports were denied.
Hopefully this isn’t another crappy video game adaptation, but with Cliffy B on board it will be pretty hard to mess up the franchise.

For all of those out there who have been wanting to test out Army of Two before you sink your teeth (and wallet) into the new title will have a chance on April 1st, barring some horrible, horrible April Fools Day joke. Ea assistant producer Matt Turner has confirmed that a demo for the title will appear on the Xbox Live marketplace on April 1st. EA has also confirmed that no demo will be available for the Playstation Network.
Turner continued by saying that downloadable content for both systems will be arriving in the ” not-too-distant future”. Included in the content will be a new game mode called the SSC Challenge mode, which will be a obstacle course for mercenaries.
